Evaluation: The New Zealand native is the most under the radar prospect in the class of 2012 since he only recently came to the United States. He is a very good athlete, has good length and has a good body. He’s great on the defensive end between his excellent shot-blocking abilities, rebounding skills and all-around presence. Adams also has a terrific work ethic and has a very high ceiling. On the offensive end, he’s able to consistently hit the mid-range jumper but he needs to develop more confidence in his shooting. He also needs to improve his ability to score in the paint. Overall, he’s a great get for Pitt head coach Jamie Dixon and the Panthers should consider this a steal, grabbing Adams before many other teams really knew about him.
