Kris Dunn Player Profile

Evaluation: There’s a very small difference in terms of rankings between class of 2012 point guards Kevin Ferrell (#21 — Indiana), Marcus Paige (#22 — North Carolina) and Dunn. There’s very little separating the three and Dunn could be named the best of this crop of floor generals fairly easily, but obviously we went in a different direction. Dunn has great physical tools and constantly gets into the lane because of his quickness and ball-handling skills. He’s also good on defense and probably has the highest ceiling of this group of three point guards. Dunn is powerful, too, and has a respectable shot. The biggest thing he needs to work on is his decision-making with the ball.

Notes: Committed to Providence August 21, 2011

Awards: 2012 McDonald’s All-American, 2012 Jordan Brand Classic participant, 2012 Connecticut Gatorade Player of the Year
