Brad Beal

Name: Brad Beal

Overall Rank: #5

Position (Rank): Shooting Guard (#2)

College: Florida

High School: Chaminade (Missouri)

Height: 6’4

Weight: 205

Evaluation: Beal is one of the best scorers in the class of 2011 and has a stroke that is pure with range out to the NBA three-point line. He is very good without the ball and uses screens to get open like few can. He also has the ability to create enough room to get off shots and is a good slasher. His ball-handling is solid too which allows him to bring the ball up the court and distribute. Beal has great vision and makes good decisions due to his high basketball IQ as well. He can take over games and be a real impact player at the next level. Beal has no big weaknesses that stick out but he can improve on his mid-range game.

Notes: Committed to Florida on November 30, 2009

Awards: 2011 National Gatorade Player of the Year, 2011 Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year, 2011 McDonald’s All-American, 2011 Jordan Brand Classic participant, 2011 Nike Hoop Summit participant, 2010 Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year
