A Quick Look

Pos. (Rank)

Quick Analysis

Quincy Miller

PF (#3)

Miller is a versatile combo-forward who has great size and athleticism. He is also quick which allows him to get to the basket easily causing a difficult match-up for opponents. He is a great, explosive finisher and has a very high basketball IQ as well.

Deuce Bello

SG (#14)

Bello is an athletic guard who is explosive in getting to the basket. He has a great mid-range game although his great range on his shot is streaky. He also finishes around the basket well and is a very good slasher.

Shooting guard Deuce Bello and power forward Quincy Miller will be bringing a lot of excitement to the Baylor campus this fall as these are two of the most exciting players in the class of 2011. Both are tremendous athletes who can get to the bucket and make electrifying finishes. Both players will also help the Bears fill the void of losing their leading scoring, LaceDarius Dunn, on a team that was ranked 151 nationally in scoring. Baylor will have a large amount of young talent with Bello and Miller teaming up with Perry Jones III. Look for this team to be great on defense if Bello and Miller develop into the defensive stars that they’re capable of being.
