Connecting to prospects in a whole new way

With the growing popularity of social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, people have been able to connect with highly touted prospects more than ever before. Whether it be announcing commitments via Twitter, or players tweeting about their list, there is no doubt fans are following their school’s top targets on Twitter and waiting at their computers to see what prospects have to say.

So with this new linkage between fans and players, people can know what a prospect is thinking in real time. Although guys usually tweet about meaningless things like what they just had to eat, they do post about new developments regarding their recruitment.

Therefore, we thought it would be fun to put together a compilation of what some top

• SG Rodney Purvis (’12, #7) • “Adding Coach [Josh] Pastner and the Memphis Tigers to my list of schools….” (May 28)

• “PG L.J. Rose (’12, #20) says UCLA and Texas lead. He’ll visit UCLA on Monday and also check out UT again.” -Josh Gershon (May 28)

• PG Kyle Anderson (’12, #22) • “Ryan Harrow not going to St. John’s keeps them on my list.” (May 28)

• SG Rodney Purvis (’12, #7) • “Harrow’s decision doesn’t change my outlook on UK at all. Unless coach tells me otherwise!” (May 25)

• SG Ricardo Ledo (’12, #9) • ” I don’t have a list its not down to 4 I’m am wide open.” (May 23)
