Oak Hill wing commits to Memphis

Class of 2012 small forward Damien Wilson committed to Memphis today over Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina and Wake Forest. Wilson is a great pick up for the Tigers and was one of the guys that caught my eye at the ESPN RISE NHSI in April. He is a very good athlete who is always in attack mode and loves to get to the basket. He is also good in transition and can score in the mid-range game. Wilson is Memphis head coach Josh Pastner’s first pick up in the class of 2012 and will be a good prospect to build a class off of. The Tigers have many elite juniors considering them such as top 25 power forwards Perry Ellis (#10), Jarnell Stokes (#17), William Goodwin (#24) and Alex Poythress (#25).
