Ellis interview completed

Along with the feature article on the #20 prospect in the class of 2012, Perry Ellis, the interview with him about his recruitment and more will be published on Monday so make sure you check out both the feature and the interview to learn more about one of the best prospects in the country. Ellis attends Wichita Heights High School in Wichita, Kansas and plays power forward at 6’8”, 222 lbs. He currently lists Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Memphis, Oklahoma, and Wichita State as his top colleges so look at his evaluation below to see why he’s such a highly touted recruit:

20. Perry Ellis PF (Undecided)- Ellis is a talented big man with great hands and the ability to run the floor. He catches practically every pass that is thrown to him when he’s in the post regardless of its location and excels in transition. He has a good mid-range game where he can knock down the jumper and score when facing the basket.  He also provides good help defense in the paint where he accumulates a fair number of blocks. Ellis is a solid ball-handler as well which is good enough to get by his defender. He needs to improve most on his back-to-the-basket game so he can add another dimension to his scoring abilities. He can also improve on his impact on the glass mainly on the offensive end.
