Hill committed to Seton Hall over Kent State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Texas A&M giving the Pirates their highest rated recruit of the class. He has a big frame and is surprisingly athletic and quick. He also is excels in rebounding and blocks averaging 13.5, and 8.8, respectively. Hill’s passing to both cutting teammates and guards on the perimeter is outstanding as well. In addition, he can hit the mid-range jump shot when he’s open so he isn’t one of those big guys you can leave alone when he isn’t in the paint. Although he is not full developed, especially his back to the basket post game, he has shown much improvement in other areas of the game and should continue to improve at the next level. Between Hill and junior forward Herb Pope (who averages close to a double-double), Seton Hall should have a solid front court next year.
