Overall Rank: #6
Position (Rank): Point Guard (#1)
College: Kentucky
High School: Pike (Indiana)
Height: 6’2
Weight: 175
Evaluation: Marquis Teague is the best point guard in the class and is the most dangerous player in transition and open-court. He is extremely quick and his first step gets him by almost every opposing defender he faces. His high basketball-IQ is what makes him an elite point guard and his ability to create shots for him and his teammates as well as his ability to change speeds allows him to take over games and be the big-time player he is. His defense is among the best in the class guard-wise too and he is very good at getting to the bucket and drawing fouls which enables him to get so many points from the charity strike. His weaknesses include being inconsistent beyond the arc and struggling to make good decisions against zone defense. Expect him to be an impact player immediately at Kentucky and lead them to great success.
