Evaluation: Robinson is the ultimate floor general who is an excellent extension of the coach, a true leader at the point guard position and a guy with a high basketball-IQ. He’s a guy who makes smart decisions on the court and is someone you can trust with the ball in his hands. Robinson is a good passer with matching court vision and can handle the ball in addition to the fact that he can score in the mid-range game. He’s also a hard worker and his weaknesses are more along the lines of his lack of elite physical tools (i.e. quickness, speed, explosiveness). He should be a great four-year player for the Panthers and is an overlooked guy in this Pittsburgh recruiting class since Jamie Dixon also reeled in Steven Adams.
