Overall Rank: #48
Position (Rank): Center (#4)
College: Ohio State
High School: Detroit Country Day (Michigan)
Height: 6’10
Weight: 220
Evaluation: Williams is a big man who has good length and excellent shot-blocking and rebounding abilities. He runs the floor well for his position and has the footwork you hope for in a center. He is also surprisingly quick and athletic for his size which enables him to score off the dribble when facing the basket. Like most other high school post players, the two areas that Williams needs to work on the most is getting stronger and developing a better back to the basket post game, especially a go-to move that he can consistently score with. He could also develop a better mid-range jumper to make himself a better scoring threat but Williams should develop into a good post-player for the Buckeyes.
